I called this jail to ask what the bail amount was for a friend, and it was an astronomically high amount considering what the alleged charges were. The first time that I called, at approximately 6pm on Sept. 16 2023, the male who answered the phone picks up and says "County Furniture", so I apologized and hung up. Upon reviewing the number I called, it was indeed the number to the jail. So I called back from the neighbors phone, asked about the bail, asked why it was so high when he told me and I was treated very rudely. So I asked the person his name and he said badge #7028. MNDOC policy was clearly violated as the phone was not answered in a professional manner.
