I

Former Inmate

I must state that there were officers that were fair and just. They were the minority, but should not be categorized with the ones that terrorized, threatened and abused inmates. It is known at this facility, that any complaint made by an inmate, regarding an officers conduct, will result in some kind of retaliation. I was an inmate at the facility during the initial Covid outbreak. And the precautions taken by Administration were laughable. So many of us were infected with the virus due to the carelessness of the officers. We were forced into large, cramped groups, and the freedom to take the suggested precautions regarding our personal health, was stripped from us all. Basically, in my option, we were forced to do things that increased our chances of getting sick. Then once we were sick, were treated inhumanly, and "punished" for getting sick.
