This facility along with the entire Arkansas prison system seems to be a joke. In the last 2 months 2 visitation/phone letters were lost, one from the inmates lawyer and one from family, inmate could not sign up for any programs due to the person who is responsible for those programs stating "I am too busy to grade the courses so I won't start any till sometime next year." and when asked about a bible study program again was told "the person must be too busy to reply, you may need to sign up though the church. They entire system does not at all seem to be around rehabilitation but more of an adult day care. How is this state supposed to rehabilitate these people and make them functioning adults if they basically lock them away and offer no way to rehabilitate?

this facility along with the entire state of Arkansas prison system appears to be inadequate in every way. in the past few months, visitation forms have been lost/misplaced and one was for inmates lawyer. When asked about programs was told "Im not starting any classes as I don't have time to grade them." when asked about bible programs was again told "the person is too busy you may need to sign up through the church." Arkansas does not seem to be interested in rehabilitation at all. It would appear we are paying for an adult day care that has little to no interest of rehabilitating the inmates to make them productive members of our society. It is a very questionable and shoty system bordering on abuse of it's inmates by way of neglect and indiference to their basic human rights.
