The website for this facility states inmates are able to take GED classes which is hard to do since the teachers for this were fired! NO vocational classes are being taught at this facility!!! The inmates don't get to go outside on a regular basis. There is NOTHING for the inmates to do if they want to learn a new skill, go to anger management classes, parenting classes, etc. Scheduled commissary visits do not happen. Even if an inmate has a tablet, it's useless unless they can afford to buy songs or movies. If an inmate is on community control, they should be able to work at a job in the facility or on the grounds. The vending machines in the visitation area cost too much and very often do not work correctly. Concerned parents know their child will not come out of this prison with any kind of skill to be a productive member of society. Their new skill when they're released is the ability to call someone's friend on the outside for their drug of choice. Prisons are NOT CORRECTIONAL facilities they are schools for criminals to get better educated at surviving on the outside!!!
