re: Scott Anthony Sprayberry id# 100-353-4562 1} use of FAX machine in approvals office. Outdated method of communication. After several attempts we could never get a answer because the employee there was on vacation which made bad timing for our family member who had no commisary money or Securus phone access. We left detailed vmails but never got a call back. The supervisor should have scheduled employee coverage for this important office to get approvals done in a timely manner. Initially we could not search for or find him as a inmate at Colwell by name or id#. This limited us from being able to take action online. We encountered one wall after another. We finally received and filed out the packet, had it notorized, and her bank faxed it for us multiple times. We never got a fax confirmation. Finally after far too long she was approved as a $ sender. Her $11 registered or certified mail envelope was delayed for days due to no access for delivery. 2] Officer Tankersly answered the Colwell main# and was was of great assistance and should be thanked for it we think. He went above and beyond for my girlfriend (the inmates mother) who finally was in tears to confirm the whereabouts of her son, who had been handcuffed on his night shift job and incarcerated for 35 days in the local county jail. We knew he would be transfered but never when or where for sure. The same "jail atm" and "jail phone" setup just bleeding her cash from disability income. 15% taken from a $20 on his jail food account. This should be unlawful. I think Carlton Colwell might have been concerned about some of this, after reading about his work on reform. Thank you
