My son Caleb Ammons opus number 1314702 has been in restricted housing for 3 weeks. I've called several times to find out why he's in there only for them to keep repeating, he's not been charged it's under investigation. How long does it take an officer to investigate and determine if he's being charged with anything? I've read the handbook of rules and regulations and it state's an inmate can be held there in a timely manner while it's under investigation. What's a timely manner? It's hard on inmates to be able to get visits and have money sent in to them. It took me 1&1/2 months to get approved, then when I tried to send him money it wouldn't allow me to do so even though I was approved, until I was approved for 6 weeks. That's 3 months that my son has to eat his supper at 4 pm and go without food until 5 the next morning. That's 13 hrs with nothing to eat. I've googled to try and find out who is the Warden at Johnston CI and still dk. I've asked to speak to the person in charge there, the head person so I can get a straight answer. And you got it...... No one puts me through to anyone that may be able to answer my question. I'm going to Raleigh to the NCDPS office and file complaints on the staff at Johnston CI
