This facility lacks so many essential programs its beyond capacity on inmates there are no mental health section to assist the mental unstable inmates communication on doin their job is challenging for all involved Gaurds can't do their job if they are not properly trained. this facility really needs improvements so there are less incidents with guards and inmates alike from what I've seen it looks like a bunch of life stock crammed into confined metal box creating more issues then there needs to be

My Brother was attacked this morning by several inmates that were Not housed in his dorm. My Family and I have tried for the last year to get him into PC or moved. We have tried numerous times to get in touch with the Warden and still haven't been able to. We have talked to several officers about the Drug Activity at Staton Prison and we have been laughed at and told he's a Grown Man. Yes he is but the Public isn't bringing in the drugs bc we haven't gotten to visit in over 18months. I will be noticing the news and every State Elected Person on this Matter. How many more inmates are gonna have to Die for something to be done.
