I

Former Inmate

I can't say it was easy but if you really want and are motivated to live a better life and want to change ur life then it doesn't have to be hard just focus on you and your goals and find yourself and what you want not what everyone else wants you to do. It honestly saved my life. Once again it's not a place for anyone but if you end up going then take advantage of every class and to better yourself and not just to get the days off but that is a bonus. Keep your head up and look at positives in life

Guards run the place, do what ever they want. Rape the women. Keep them in constant lockdown. Falsifying records to denie visitation. Harm visitors. And get away with it for years on end. Everyone is allowing it by nit stopping it.

I have been trying to contact the medical regarding my daughter. They put off a badly needed surgery and now she's dealing with infections she reported to me. It's very concerning since no family member can be there to serve as an advocate or be able to check on the status. The treatment given by the medical staff is inexcusable, by not listening to the patients. I have been trying to contact the prison when it's open for the last 2 days and with no answer. Another concern my daughter is fearful due to men being placed there saying they identify as women. Some of these men are violent and can over power the women if they choose to. As a mother of this inmate causes me undo anxiety worrying about my daughter if she's safe.
