I have not yet visited this facility, however, I wish to share a recent incident. May son is currently in this facility in the incentive unit. They had a Covid-19 scare and decided THREE days later to separate the individuals and their roommates. They put them in the "hole" (that's what my son calls it), assuring them that they were not in trouble, this was not punishment and their families would be notified. They were each stuck in a room for TWELVE (12) days with no hot water, no electricity (barely any light) and no privileges for 23 hours 45 minutes a day (15 minutes to take a shower and that was all). I was never notified and was worried, as he usually calls me once a week. I am contemplating seeking legal action, as this is inhumane on every level, even if you break a rule and need to be separated, but especially if you haven't done anything wrong. After 3 days, if you were exposed to Covid-19, it's too late to take preventative measures. This was uncalled for and unjust.

What Do Employees Think?
