Former Inmate

Gangs run the prison!!! They run the phones, they steal, they randomly pick people to beat up or steal from. They need to separate all inmates who are not affiliated to a compound with no gang ties. Most of us wanted to just serve our time and go home which is hard to do when you MUST defend yourself and whatever property you have. If you file a complaint, your pretty much a target from that point on. I believe every guard and all staff should go threw a series of tests to see if they can handle the job. Treat in.ates as human beings because that's what we are. We just made bad mistakes. I think intake should be allot more intense and from there separate people the correct way. Which is putting them where they should be not where they have room.
