I

Former Inmate

I spent over 6 years incarcerated at Collins CF, and it's one of, if not the easiest place to do your time in New York State, low end of the scale for violence, honor housing has private rooms, music program let us play concerts for the general population, there's pool tables and ping pong, indoor gym with basketball court, no free weights inside, just cables, but the rec yard has free weights. CO's were predominantly easy-going and lazy. Basically if you just want to do your time with as little hassle as possible it's a good choice, but if you want to use your time to better yourself your choices are reading and music. Other programs are insufficient or non-existent.
