I have only been acquainted with this facility for about 6 months. they are far stricter on mail, jpay email. which I was asked by my fiance not to continue to fuss about because the guards retaliate. The inmate's mail, personal property, etc are destroyed or treated in manners that are very unprofessional. Inmate's for the most part that my fiance deals with are respectful, but there are those who deliberately try to cause trouble or difficulty. I am not going to say my fiance is all good all the time but he is trying his best to stay out of trouble and he does lookout for some of the others.

I've only been visiting my husband for 3 months but so far I have noted that this facility compared to others is far more strict. They do not allow mail that other facilities allow, they don't treat the inmates very humanely. They treat visitors a bit better than inmates but not by much though that has begun to improve. I understand the overworked part that you find common amongst the facilities but their stricter rules do not necessarily improve situations. They restrict phone calls, visits, monitor emails harshly, I don't know what purpose that serves but when a man and wife communicate in a passionate way how is that detrimental to the safety in the facility. to me that is between them. the inmate and his significant other should be allowed to communicate in whatever manner they choose whether it is sexually related or not. there are no rules or regulations stated on the email sites about those types of emails between inmates and their significant others. So why should those reading them be allowed to decide that an inmate cannot receive those types of messages. I have discovered that they allow my husband to send them to me but my sexual responses back are flagged and denied to him. I have told other facilities if they like the action emails I send him print them out and hang them in their break room.
