(For reference i am the friend of an inmate who will be getting out in 2 months and has been there for 4 years) I haven’t ever been to prison or jail even so I don’t know if this is standard, better or worse than other prisons but its not good. Because hes about to get out they had him move dorms. They make him do basically slave labor all day and dont even give him access to clean or cold water. The water given to them is well water and there is a landfill right next to the prison so the water is highly contaminated and they dont keep it cold. So he is working for free, with only dirty warm water. Its scary that this is allowed. He was sent books over a month ago and they have still not given them to him. Im not sure if they were not shipped correctly but he foesnt have them. Overall there is no rehabilitation its just a labor camp.

My son Benjamin DeVoe Mohead states that he received a letter of death threat. He requested that his stay in solitary confinement e extended 15 days; but was placed on the pound. I am afraid for him and I ask that he be protected. Sincerely, Bessie Mohead
