Can only base my observations on trying to contact my niece who has been in Hernando for a few days, using the IC Solutions prepaid voicemail app. It doesn't work. It will not accept the 15-character alphanumeric inmate ID that comes up on the Hernando web site, and IC Solutions customer support is totally useless in helping solve the problem. I will say that the person who answered the phone at the Sheriff's office was polite and tried to help by giving me a numbers-only ID. However, that didn't work either. If this is the only way for inmates to communicate with out-of-state family, the SO and ICS need to get their act together and make it clear what we need to enter for an inmate ID since the one returned by the web site does not work.
