My family is a first time offender and alcohol was the main factor involved. He is g4 SPD. He got in no trouble while on bond nor incarcerated . SPD guys have not been in trouble but have no opportunity to have SPD removed from them. But other g4 guys get in trouble alot and can get a lower classifications classification to g2.. Something needs to change. They needs classes to keep be them busy so all can use their time wisely. Idle hands is devil's playground.. my family member is 5 hours away. I only get 1 hour with him. Gas and hotel I must pay.. my family member has entire family support him . He doesn't get his proper medicine there. They one bottle water if any left for one day ,one hot summer days. No a/c. Only one cooling shirt. Many lockdowns . Food not on a regular schedule. Staff have be cordial. . Much appreciated. I know understaffed. No AA classes or many church meetings.. lots of depression there. Some guys have committed suicide.. it's ash ashame. If they prove their self improvement . Maybe let the do more. If they mess up. Let the start over. More positive reinforcement.. if guys continue to not be respectful to staff or others then keep those elsewhere or a separate dorm . Some may not change their ways. There are some that actually want and try to change their ways but are not reward for trying to be better..
